I do not think you should send a thank-you card for ..... but perhaps you can call the person, and I thank you for the card .... Even if a message on his answering machine .. .. I think it would be nice ....

Age is a courtesy that die slowly. In the past, letters to the correspondence or the gift he has received from a friend or loved one. I'm with Kate. No need. In fact, I would say it's a little strange, a thank you card from a card lol. But call it sweet when you can. A birthday card is usually about love and Missing You.
